Tonorello is a great restaurant in Trastevere. I loved eating here when the weather was nice because they have a lot of outdoor seating. My favorite part about this restaurant though is the pasta. They all come served to you in the pan they were cooked in! I recommend getting the cacio e pepe here.

Grazia & Graziella

Grazia & Graziella is right next to Tonnorello. Both have nice outdoor seating and a similar atmosphere therefore if one has a wait, I would go to the other. Or, if they both have a wait (which is likely when there's nice weather on a weekend), put your name down at both and go to whichever has a table open up first. I recommend ordering any pizza here.

Pimm’s Good

Pimm's is a very casual restaurant. I saw some students who would get a table, order an appetizer to do homework. I loved going here because they have the best Cesaer salad. I often found that a lot of Italian restaurants wouldn't have many options for salads on their menus, so when I was craving a salad I would always go here.

Pizzeria La Boccaccia

Pizzaria La Boccaccia was definitely my favorite place to get pizza. It it the perfect roman style pizza with several different toppings to choose from. My favorite was the mozzarella or the ricotta and sausage. I saw chef Bobby Flay here filming for his and Giada's special, "Bobby and Giadia in Italy." This is my proof that it has great food.

When I was studying in Rome my favorite thing to do was to get some pizza from here and go sit on the steps of the Piazza Trilussa (00153 Roma RM, Italy). There's usually a lot of students spending time here at all hours and some street performers at night.

Mammò Street Food

As I mentioned in my blog post "Coffee Ordering," Mammo was my favorite place to get an "American" iced coffee. I would also get a simple bacon, egg, and cheese whenever I

was missing my local breakfast spot from home. Also, if you like bagels, this is only place in Rome I found to have bagels. I loved to stop here in the mornings before class because I would always run into another Nu.in student.
